Arctic Blast!

Well, most of the country is experiencing frigid temps from the Arctic Blast and many of us are hunkered down indoors! Between cooking, curling up on the couch with my dogs and a book, and hanging out with my family, I’m trying to incorporate some strength moves at home.

Most of you likely don’t have a plyo box at home, but I bet you have a bench, fireplace hearth or sturdy chair that you can use to add some challenging lower body moves to your day.

Natalie’s Nuggets–>

  1. Front Step-ups: Engage your core and switch your lead leg periodically (I like 5 on R then 5 on left to 30 reps)
  2. Lateral Step-ups: Keep head and torso facing forward
  3. Front Jumps: This is an advanced move, clear your surface and land on both feet at once
